We are continuing to expand the content at The Small Business Resource
Center, which is our website that complements our new book, Perfect
Phrases For Managing Your Small Business. The book, published by
McGraw-Hill should be available before the end of the year. We don't
have a firm release date. Visit the site if you are involved in,

Free Stuff: While more and more material on the web is behind
registration walls, or requires paying high fees, we're hunting around
for free material for you that you can use in professional and job
development, just for fun, and for other learning purposes. This month

A) Free Audio Version of Using Your Head To Manage Conflict Helpcard.
We have a helpcard in print that outlines the different ways of
choosing to manage conflict, and the advantages and disadvantages of
each approach. We've also been experimenting with multimedia on our
sites, so we decided to offer you a FREE AUDIO version of the card.
The catch is that the audiio is computer generated so it's a bit
stilted, but the content is all there. The reading is about 11 minutes

LearningOutLoud is a great source for purchasing audio material, but
it also offers a large amount of free stuff.
Extra Tips for the Confident Public Speaking is a high quality audio
production (there's other freebies that are videos) with a number of
tips for public speakers. The production values are excellent. You may
have to register to access any of their free stuff, but it's probably
worth it. We downloaded this item and were quite impressed with the
